Latina Loves: Have You Tried Blue Apron Yet? Here's Why You Should

You guys, I've seen the light. As a single New Yorker, I find myself ordering takeout and eating snacks as "meals," more times than I really care to admit. (Okay -- all the time.) That is, until I found out about Blue Apron. The company is slowly and surely teaching me some things in the cocina, and it's resulting in some delish meals and Instagram-worthy foodie photos. Sorry, I'm one of those people.

What is it exactly? In a nutshell, you sign up online and choose your meal preferences (vegetarian, all meat/fish, only fish, etc.). You'll then pick some awesome recipes and a delivery date. Pay (sign up for a subscription!) and wait for a box of delish goodies to show up at your door. They include everything you'll need to ace your meal -- including spices, garnishes and more. All you have to do is follow the recipe and then marvel at your amazing culinary ability. (That last part is an exaggeration, but seriously, anyone can make the recipe card image into a reality!)

And if you sign up by today, August 6th, you're in for a treat: the company has announced a partnership with Chef Michael Anthony of Gramercy Taven. His recipe of Pan-Seared Chicken Thighs with Roasted Fairy Tale Eggplants and Fennel Salad is probably going to blow your mind -- and will save you the cost of an NYC airplane ticket.

Also in the box if you order today? Queso and pepper arepas with kale salad, pictured at the top. Are you drooling yet?
