Narciso Rodriguez’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection encompasses an assortment of clean, graphic and sexy pieces. The overall beauty look is for a young, free and liberated woman. Simply, it’s chic but not over-styled.
The look was all about eyes, Dick Page, using Shiseido Makeup, created the heavily lined eye using pencil, cream and liquid eyeliner. Page defined brows and kept the rest of the face natural.
On nails, nude matte is where its at for lead manicurist, Deborah Lippmann. "With deference to Debbie Harry's style - bold black eyeliner and easy just woke up hair - I knew this season was going to be edgy and fierce just like Debbie herself. Narciso always loves a clean, subtle nail so I was thrilled when he declared my summer 2015 Terra Nova lacquer, a warm caramel creme, 'the new kind of nude.' I added a matte finish to make it contemporary and unexpected unexpected," explains Lippmann.
Taking the lead in creating a hair look to compliment the simple yet stunning collection is lead stylist for TRESemmé, Paul Hanlon. Hanlon shaped effortless waves on each model inspired by the that served as the inspiration for this collection.
How to create the look:
1. Start with freshly washed and dried hair. Using a spray bottle, wet hair down from mid-length to ends and distribute TRESemmé Climate Protection Mousse evenly throughout wet hair.
2. Divide hair into 2-3 loose braids and dry with a diffuser.
3. Undo braids and retouch ends using a medium to large curling iron to define the waves’ shape.
4. Spray TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray all over to prevent damage and use a ceramic plated straighter around the hairline to achieve a flattering wave movement.
5. Finish the look with TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Anti‐Frizz Secret Crème.
6. If needed, mist with TRESemmé Climate Protection Finishing Spray for flexible hold.
