The look at Tracy Reese was feminine and powerful — think urban warrior princess for her fall/winter 2015 collection. We loved the outerwear pieces that had a bit of retro and Latin flavor, like the fringed, over-sized ponchos.

For the beauty looks, the bold Maasai-inspired reds and blues colors from the collection were incorporated in the into the makeup and nails. Sally Hansen Nail Ambassador and celebrity manicurist Tracylee prepped the nails to walk the down the runway. This is the 19th consecutive season that Tracy Reese has collaborated with Sally Hansen to create 3 exclusive nail colors inspired by her fall 2015 collection. The shades that will be available this fall, are all part of the Complete Salon Manicure. Colors include: Yummy Yam, Maasai Red and Winter Sky. For the show, Tracylee used Winter Sky as the base for the entire nail and then created a delicate yet bold frame using contrasting colors (to coordinate with the models looks) around the nail.

The models at Tracy Reese looked flawless. Makeup artist, Sir John using La Prairie created a look of radiant skin, sculpted cheeks, a nude lip finished off with a graphic eye look. "The focus for me was always the skin; using skincare with makeup to reflect and absorb light within, and around the face. We ushered in a sense of architectural structure by sculpting cheekbones and temples. The eyes were the vehicle to delivering a sense of motion. We wanted to make a lot a linear statement with color, translating in levels of old and graphic liner."
We were wowed by the hair look at the show. Celebrity Stylist Bok Hee created a slick top knot with Shea Moisture products, but this is not your regular bun. This top-knot resembled something for a warrior princess, sleek and smooth but tough too. We know the key to this look is more than extra packs of hair and wires, its about starting with healthy hair. We asked Diane Bailey, Brand Ambassador for Shea Moisture, about how to best use the. "For the hair at Tracy Reese show the key products are the Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni Glosser for a great shine and Monoi Smooth & Repair Blow Out, this made it easier to blow out and it also nourishes the hair and moisturizes the scalp. Shea Moisture is all about "A Better Way To Beautiful" and the ingredients reflect that, its all about natural and certified organic ingredient." What does Shea Moisture hope is big in beauty and fashion for fall/winter 2015? " We hope to elevate the beauty experience. For hair, the Shea Moisture girl ranges from straight hair to curly and there are 12 collections of hair products, so there is something for everyone."
Get the Hair Look:
1. Apply SheaMoisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair Blow Out Cream to protect hair and add shine before drying.
2. Using a paddle brush, dry hair brushing away from the face, towards the crown of the head.
3. Massage SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Soufflé between hands and use to pull hair into a severe ponytail at the crown. Secure with an elastic band.
4. Once secured, spray SheaMoisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair High Shine Glosser onto paddle brush and smooth the ponytail.
5. Combine SheaMoisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair High Shine Glosser and SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Soufflé in the palm of the hand and pull through the tail of the pony for intense shine and hold.
6. Wrap wire around the base of the ponytail and manipulate so that the wire sits in the center of the tail, unseen.
7. Twist the ponytail until it makes a tight rope with the wire in the center. Secure at the end with a small elastic band.
8. Still holding the roped hair, loop it back to the base of the head and secure with bobby pins. This will create a loop with the hair that point in a diagonal away from the head.
9. Once firmly secured, twist the looped hair counterclockwise, creating a spiral effect.
10. Slick back any loose hairs around the face with SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Edge Treatment.
11. Finish by spraying SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist for hold and hydration.
