Carolina Herrera debuted her Spring/Summer 2015 collection to a packed house at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and left even the most talkative fashionista speechless! The iconic Venezuelan designer transported the audience to another time and place when they entered the Tents at Lincoln Center.

Adorned with an abstract forest on the runway, the models wove their way in and out of the green metal structures as though they were strolling through a forest in an ultra-modern city in the future.

Featuring solid colors, large simple florals and modern geometric shapes, this collection is composed of the basics to the bold. From neutral basics like black, white, gray, beige and navy to bolder soft yellow and pink neons to deeply vibrant purple, this color palette was meticulously engineered.  The floral prints were composed of large and soft single flowers on a solid base, including a standout statement jacket dress showcasing a daisy with a red center and bright white petals on a black satin background.

Deserving of its own wing at MOMA (Museum of Modern Art), this collection smartly blends traditional cuts with futuristic modernism. For example, the raised-inverted seams look like architectural piping, and the sheer mesh cutouts are reminiscent of the 90s.

This collection effortlessly blends Japanese refinement with a modern edge and will have you asking for more!  From comfortably chic vacation perfection to an office board meeting, from tea to cocktails or shopping and a jaunt on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, this collection has everything for the modern, sophisticated woman.
